went to bugis for steamboat for ahting's brithday ytd. it was damn fun. ate plenty of rice. haha. lim as usual ; ate crabs & prawns with hot & spicy soup. some of them came just for the cut cake session. jim bought mango cake for ahting. asked lady boss to take photo for us & she die die want us to take it infront of her sign board =.= she keep shaking the camera after pressing the button. fcuking no skill man. took quite a few pictures esp me, ting, lim & nel. we did the LOVE & nel was suffering because of the 'E'. the rest keep asking him to do this & that than ting stood up for him by scolding them. haha. after the steamboat went to lim's house & played mahjong. i lost cause of the fake sherlynn who tagged me. it made malay misunderstood me & i felt uneasy so cant concentrate on game. after the game we felt hungry so we went to mac to have our yummy breakfast. while having breakfast, we laughed till stomach pain cause of me using 'god'. PLEASE FORGIVE ME GOD! & we have to controll our voice cause it was so quiet like in the library. LOLS! cab-ed home after breakfast.
went to cathay today to watch movie. i watched THE PROPOSAL. it was funny but cant compared to HANGOVER. before the movie we had lunch at ichiban sushi (: delicious. haha. headed to arcade after the movie. finished up all my left over tokens which i kept for 4 months. train to bugis to look for howard. met up with yushe for awhile as she was there. bus-ed to lim's house than. bought mac & slacked around bendemeer. sent songs & cab-ed home.
tmr's plan was movie again i think. than fetched lim & howard. hope nel is meeting us tmr (: N level is coming. starts on the 7th sept. wanna rush my studies! dont think i can make it. haha. will upload the photos next time cause now at mac & is damn lag. LOLS.

rushed to bugis by train than met up with nelson for dinner with rave at MOS first than lim came after that. headed to street to meet howard. they planned to play mahjong & i cant cause confirm late so i went to meet yushe at whampoa. caught under the rain anyways. LOLS.

More than 600 people are still unaccounted for after a mudslide triggered by torrential rains from a typhoon buried an entire village in mountainous southern Taiwan.
So far, more than 50 people are confirmed dead after Typhoon Morakot and other tropical storms ripped through the Phillipines, Taiwan, China & Japan
The official death toll so far in Taiwan stood at 15, with 55 missing and 32 hurt, since Typhoon Morakot struck the island on Friday and remained in the area through the weekend before battering China's populous east coast.
But rescue squads aboard helicopters had saved only 45 people from Hsiao Lin, a village of 1,000 in southern Taiwan.

Rains washed out roads and bridges in Kaohsiung County, severing all land vehicle traffic.
'No small number of single-storey houses have been covered in mudslides,' said Richard Hu, an army major-general. 'We don't know how many people are there, but homes have definitely been buried.'
Local officials said they had lost contact with up to 600 villagers, with worsening weather reducing even helicopter access.
The storm caused floods in Taiwan's densely-populated south and farm-related losses on the island were estimated at T$4.2 billion ($128 million).
Morakot killed 22 people in the Philippines. In China, it damaged more than 1,800 houses in the province of Zhejiang and killed at least one child.
One million people were evacuated in China before the storm made landfall.
In Japan, tropical storm Etau was fast approaching and more than 47,000 residents of western regions were told to leave their homes, national broadcaster NHK reported
Village officials in Zhejiang rode bicycles to hand out drinking water and instant noodles to residents stranded by deep floods, while rescuers tried to reach eight sailors on a cargo ship blown onto a reef off Fujian, Xinhua reported.
Typhoon Morakot is currently centred 42 miles off China's southeastern Fujian province.
The storm had winds of up to 67mph and was churning northwest toward China at a speed of 7mph.
By Sunday morning, Chinese authorities evacuated nearly one million residents - more than 490,000 people in Zhejiang and 480,000 others in neighboring Fujian.
The meteorological station in eastern Zhejiang issued a typhoon alert and said the storm was likely to make landfall sometime between noon and the evening, bringing heavy rain to coastal areas.

Thirty-nine outbound flights from the city of Wenzhou were canceled.
Morakot hit Taiwan late on Friday but traversed the island and weakened to a tropical storm in the Taiwan Strait.
Flash flooding washed away a makeshift home in southern Kaohsiung, leaving 16 people missing.
Three others were swept away in southeastern Taitung county, including two policemen helping to evacuate villagers.
Ten others were missing, including three fishermen from a capsized boat and three others whose cars fell into a swelling river, it said.

In southern Pingtung county, 4,000 people were stranded in inundated villages waiting for police boats to rescue them, news media reported.
Morakot is the first typhoon to hit Taiwan this year. Typhoons frequently move in between July and September, often causing injuries and deaths in mountainous regions prone to landslides and flash floods.
The typhoon also smashed into the northern Philippines, triggering floods and landslides that killed at least 21 people.

It also left seven others missing in landslides and floodwaters, including three European tourists who were swept away, the National Disaster Coordinating Council said.
The bodies of a Belgian and two French citizens were found on Friday, the council confirmed.
More than 83,000 people in 93 northern villages were affected by floods and landslides, including 22,200 who fled their homes, it said. Displaced people began returning home as the weather cleared, it said.
